The Power of Prayer

The Practitioners of CSL Parker are considered the “healing arm” of the center, and their power is in prayer. They are expertly trained in the art of Spiritual Mind Treatment and hold the highest consciousness of Oneness for congregants, the leadership, the center, and ultimately humanity. They offer confidential spiritual support on a one-to-one basis, as well as concerted group prayer upon request.

Practitioners are available for a complimentary “mini-treatment” following Sunday Services, and also accept written prayer requests.

A complete Practitioner session may be scheduled with the practitioner of your choice for a nominal fee. No one is turned away for inability to pay. These sessions are invaluable to the client and nearly always life-changing, offering powerful belief-shifting resulting in different circumstances or conditions in the life of the client.

CSL Parker Practitioners meet following service on the first Sunday of the month. The purpose of this meeting is to support each other in spiritual growth as well as unify consciousness surrounding the growth of the center and the people within it.

I was introduced to Science of Mind when my mother took me to the 2004 Religious Science conference at the Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove California. I returned home to Denver from that trip and began my Religious Science studies that fall. I earned my Practitioner License in 2007.

Because of the richness and rewarding nature of this philosophy I have never stopped studying. Each class I take peels another layer back and teaches me something new about myself and life.
My passion is prayer. I love praying. Prayer connects me deeply and intimately to the God within and takes me to such a place of deep gratitude for all that is! Life is a beautiful journey; I am grateful for all of it.

Anne first attended Mile Hi Church in the 1980's and like so many others, she knew on that first Sunday that she had found her Spiritual Home. After a brief hiatus she moved to Parker and immediately began attending what is now known as CSL Parker. She has ushered this church through many changes and uncertain times, knowing always that Spirit is ever present and acting in our best interest. Anne has experienced great solace knowing that “God's Got It!”. Especially during what seem to be the darkest times, she has witnessed Spirit in action and has seen repeated demonstration that the highest and best outcome is waiting to be revealed. I was hooked on CSL Parker, the first time I took a class. I was renewed and uplifted by much of Ernest Holmes’ philosophy described in the book we were studying: This Thing Called You. The deeply satisfying connections with other people in the class, was an additional blessing. CSL Parker is still a joyous part of my life as Spirit grows and expands within me. My favorite mantra is “Do all things with great love.” I feel so privileged to teach classes, pray, meditate, and be with you.
