You’re invited into a sacred circle of visioning next Sunday, October 12th at noon. Before we begin to imagine the qualities of our next minister, we have the opportunity to reflect together on the kind of community experience we most want to cultivate.
This is a moment of possibility. Much is already good, steady, and strong—and yet Spirit always invites us forward into new growth. As we gather, you’ll have the chance to consider questions like:
- What do you most treasure about your community right now?
- How do you feel Spirit is calling you to grow?
- What qualities would make your community even more vibrant, welcoming, and spiritually alive?
- If anything were possible, what would your next chapter together look like?
This circle will be facilitated by Dr. Ahriana, who is providing ecclesiastic and ministry support during this time of change. Come ready to share your ideas, listen to each other, and imagine into the future.

The stage is being set to attract our new minister to CSL Parker. The first step is the formation of a Ministerial Attraction Committee (MAC) consisting of 2 Board Members, 1 Practitioner, and 4 Church Members. This committee will be working together with CSL Home Office to create an employment package, interview potential candidates, a
The stage is being set to attract our new minister to CSL Parker. The first step is the formation of a Ministerial Attraction Committee (MAC) consisting of 2 Board Members, 1 Practitioner, and 4 Church Members. This committee will be working together with CSL Home Office to create an employment package, interview potential candidates, and forward our recommendations to the Board of Trustees for their consideration. Those recommended by the Board of Trustees will lead a church service so that our congregation can get to know them. Ultimately, it will be the congregational members that have the final vote on the selection of our minister. We ask each of our members to pray and contemplate whether you feel you have a role to play on this committee, have the time to serve, and feel you can be unbiased. If you feel you do, please apply by filling out the application form.
