Dr. Nadene: Sometimes you and I believe that perfection can be attained by focusing outward in an attempt to rearrange our external world. In this way, perfection brings pain. You and I have the ability to change the experience of our lives when we look inwardly to locate the true causes of our pain.  Perfection is only found inwardly through cultivating peace of mind—it is found in the ability to embrace and love ourselves. Perfection is an inward change moving always towards compassion and love – knowing that we already are who we wish to be. Perfection is an inner movement that begins with loving ourselves.
